Industry veterans lead Imatest

Norman Koren, Founder and CTO
Norman founded Imatest in 2004 after a successful career in magnetic recording technology which provided him with an exceptional background for developing image quality analysis software.   In four years, he single-handedly positioned Imatest as the number-one supplier of digital image testing software in the world. Norman has been a photography enthusiast since 1964 and maintains a photography web site, www.normankoren.com, which features a portfolio of his work and is one of the most heavily-trafficked amateur photography web sites in the nation. He has received seven U.S. patents. In May 2005, Norman was a panelist on the future of cameras at the MIT Symposium on Computational Photography and Video. In January 2006, he delivered a paper on Imatest at the Electronic Imaging conference. Norman holds an AB in Physics from Brown University and an MA in Physics from Wayne State University.

Randy Bockrath, CEO
Randy brings 20 years of experience in software engineering, consulting services, and executive management to Imatest.  He has served in senior management roles at many organizations, from early stage to Fortune 100 companies.  He has international business experience, has helped raise $8M in venture capital funding, founded startups with revenue of more than $1M, led large angel investment groups, and lectured in eCommerce strategy.  His management experience includes turnaround, re-engineering, business strategy, and new technology initiatives with many large organizations, including the United States Department of Justice, the Navy Federal Credit Union, the United States Treasury, Riggs Bank, BellSouth, Verizon, WorldCom, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Randy holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota where he majored in Information and Decision Sciences.

Henry Koren, Director of Information Systems
Henry has ten years experience developing database-driven e-commerce web applications. He has successfully applied a wide range of technologies across more than a dozen software development projects for companies in the financial services, medical, and airline industries, among others. An avid technologist, Henry's experience spans most popular operating systems, languages, databases, and development environments. Henry holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California San Diego.

Nelinia Cabiles, Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Since 1988, Nelinia has written for corporate and internal communications departments of large multinational organizations, as well as for smaller companies and businesses. She has extensive experience in public relations, media relations, and account management across a diverse array of industries, including tourism, food and beverage, electronics and sensors, health, and sports marketing. Her writing accomplishments include literary prizes and fellowships, as well as a distinguished publication record in top literary journals in the U.S.  Nelinia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University and a BS in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University.
