
Industry veterans lead Imatest

Dwayne Nesmith, COO Dwayne was co-founder and CFO of Viant Corporation, a leading Internet consultancy that helped define the first generation of Internet applications in the 1990s by building digital businesses for firms such as Compaq, Charles Schwab, Merck, Raytheon, Radio Shack and Sony. He helped Viant grow into a 750 person company listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange with annual revenues of more than $125 million. Dwayne also served as the CEO of Clear Technology where he grew the company’s revenues 30% annually. Prior to his time at Viant and Clear, Dwayne was Product Manager at Uniface Corporation, a provider of application development software; Product Marketing Manager at Oracle Corporation; and as a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Dwayne is a co-founder and currently serves as Chairman of the Board at ElectricApps, a Platform as a Service software provider enabling business users to quickly build and deploy Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud applications. He received his computer science degree from Ole Miss and MBA from Harvard. |

Norman Koren, Founder and CTO Norman founded Imatest in 2004 after a career in magnetic recording technology that provided him with a strong background for developing image quality analysis software. In its first four years, he positioned Imatest as the leading supplier of digital image testing software in the world. Norman has been a photography enthusiast since 1964 and maintains a popular photography web site, www.normankoren.com, which features a portfolio of his work and a number of technical articles. He has received seven U.S. patents. In May 2005, Norman was a panelist on the future of cameras at the MIT Symposium on Computational Photography and Video. In January 2006, he delivered a paper on Imatest at the Electronic Imaging conference. Norman holds an AB in Physics from Brown University and an MA in Physics from Wayne State University. |
