Imatest Master 3.0 can be downloaded at no cost by customers with a current Imatest Pro license. Customers with expired licenses can upgrade at a reduced cost.
Imatest Master SC (Small Company) is identical to Master but is offered only to companies with 5 or fewer employees, so small companies can upgrade or purchase Imatest at a reduced price.
New features in Imatest Master include
- Single color analysis in SFR, which is
faster than the standard 4- color analysis and useful for filtered
images where some channels may have invalid data
- X and y-spacing and aspect ratios of the
grid pattern is now displayed in the Distortion intersection plot
(useful for analyzing scanner aspect ratio distortion)
- Secondary readouts in the SFR MTF plot can be emphasized.

Imatest Studio is only for sale to individuals or single-person companies. Therefore, individual users with current Light licenses can install Studio 3.0, at no cost, or can upgrade expired Light licenses to Studio 3.0. Companies having more than one employee should upgrade to Master or Master SC if they want to receive the benefits of the new product line.
