Imatest MTS Reflective Module
An MTS add-on for the Kino Flo LED Freestyle 31 lights and reflective charts. Lights are effortless to position, and angle and position markers record light bank locations for future testing.
Imatest MTS Wide Field of View Module
An MTS add-on for sharpness testing of wide FOV camera systems up to 200º, integrated with the Kino Flo LED Freestyle 31 lights.
Imatest Benchtop Test Stand
The BTS is an easy-to-use, modular platform for accurate and repeatable image quality testing. With its optional endoscope mount, it quickly tests endoscopes for sharpness, color accuracy, and more.
BTS Stray Light/Target Projector
The BTS-SLTP fixture is purpose-built for stray light (flare) testing and long-range testing in a limited space. Its stray light module derives objective metrics such as normalized stray light; its target projector module tests at long range in a confined space.
Lighting Sources
Glare-free illumination is essential for achieving accurate, repeatable measurements, and our lab assembly guide provides placement instructions. Imatest lighting systems involve two categories of innovative equipment solutions: reflective and uniform.
Reflective Lighting Equipment
Even, glare-free illumination of reflective test charts, at the light levels and color temperatures your testing needs.
Uniform Lighting Equipment
Even, flat-field illumination for transmissive test charts and uniformity testing: how an image darkens away from its center, especially with wide angle lenses.
Test Charts
A wide array of spatial, tonal, and color features for image quality analysis, on substrates including reflective and transmissive materials. Predistorted charts help compensate for fish-eye distortion.
Collimators
The Imatest Collimator Fixture, the first commercially available desktop machine for long-range testing in space-restricted environments, includes a validation procedure for minimal work-distance error and an onboard computer that saves camera positions, lens and light panel configurations, and simulated distances. Motion Generators
Analyze motion blur, rolling shutter effects and exposure time by moving a chart at controlled velocities, as in the method of the IEEE 1858-2023 standard:
