This set of targets is for use with ISO16505 testing of Camera Monitor Systems (CMS) to replace mandatory inside and outside rearview mirrors for road vehicles. This bundle is the 2x size.
This International Standard outlines general requirements and test methods regarding the basic aspects of CMS; e.g. intended use, operating readiness, field of view, magnification, etc., as well as requirements and test methods regarding the necessary object size and resolution provided by the CMS.
Description
The targets included in this bundle can be used for the tests as described in the ISO16505 document. In addition, the ISO12233 target included can be used for automated analysis of MTF50 at various regions using our Imatest Software, significantly reducing the amount of time required to perform resolution testing on a CMS. These results can be obtained from both the slanted edge regions or from the hyperbolic wedges, both discussed in the standard.
The targets are sized 400 mm x 610 mm (15.75” x 24”), (18% and 70% Gray are 24″ x 36″) suitable for most standard applications. If you require custom size version of any of the targets, please feel free to contact charts@imatest.com for a quote.
